Paul Heaton (born May 9, 1962 in Bromborough, Merseyside, United Kingdom) is the lead singer and songwriter of The Beautiful South, and previously of The Housemartins. His most recent 'solo project' is called Biscuit Boy. He lives in Kingston upon Hull. Paul has two daughters and originally lived in 52 Grafton Street which inspired the Instrumental piece "the rising of Grafton Street" on the bands Choke album.
