Pat Choate

Patrick Jeffrey "Pat" Choate is an economist and was the 1996 Reform Party Vice President candidate, the running-mate of H. Ross Perot. He has a B.A. from University of Texas at Arlington and a Ph.D. from University of Oklahoma, both in Economics. He currently teaches a course called Advanced Issues Management at George Washington University's Graduate School of Public Management (http://www2.gwu.edu/~gspm/). He is known for his strong stance against free trade agreements.
He is married to Kay Choate, and has two grown step-sons.
Choate co-hosted the radio talk show "For The People" with Chuck Harder. He hosted a weekly radio show called The Week Ahead from 1994 to 1996 and the Pat Choate Show from 1997 to 2000.
He has authored six books, including:
