Paolo Conte

Paolo Conte (born at Asti, 6 January 1937) is a famous Italian singer whose style can be compared to that of well-known French chansonniers like Jacques Brel. He both writes and performs his own material and his grainy resonant voice adds a certain charm to his wistful, sometimes melancholic lyrics. His compilation album is entitled The Best of Paolo Conte. Paolo Conte is a former lawyer.
