One Foot in the Grave is an indie rock album by Beck, released in June of 1994 (see 1994 in music) on K Records, an independent label. Though the album's chart success was non-existent, One Foot in the Grave strenghtened Beck's reputation, allowing him to break into the mainstream with Odelay in 1996 (see 1996 in music). It has a strong folk-influence, more pronounced than in Beck's usual style, which tends to have a mishmash of multiple genres.
