Octavian Goga

Octavian Goga (April 1, 1881 - May 7, 1938) was a Romanian politician and poet. He also was the Prime Minister of Romania from 1937 to 1938. He was appointed by King Carol II and his short period in government was mostly notable for orgy of anti-semitic laws he passed. Goga was a ardent anti-semitic himself and additionally, he was attempting to outflank the Iron Guard for popular support.
