Oak Valley is a census-designated place and section of Deptford Township, located in Gloucester County, New Jersey. According to the 2000 census, Oak Valley had a total population of 3,747.

Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 3,747 people, 1,305 households, and 1,060 families residing in Oak Valley. The population density is 2,066.7/km² (5,321.6/mi²). There are 1,322 housing units at an average density of 729.2/km² (1,877.6/mi²). The racial makeup is 93.43% White, 4.06% African American, 0.27% Native American, 0.80% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.27% from other races, and 1.17% from two or more races. 2.24% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 1,305 households out of which 36.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.4% are married couples living together, 12.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 18.7% are non-families. 16.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 8.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.87 and the average family size is 3.20.
