Nuneaton and Bedworth is a local government district with borough status, in Warwickshire, England, consisting of the towns of Nuneaton, Bedworth and the village of Bulkington. The borough has a population of just under 120,000.
The borough was created on April 1st 1974, when the Nuneaton borough was merged with the Bedworth urban district (which included Bulkington). It was innitially known as the Borough of Nuneaton however objections to this by Bedworth residents lead to it being re-named 'Nuneaton and Bedworth' in 1980.
Nuneaton and Bedworth is divided into 17 wards with 34 Councillors. The borough has no no civil parishes.
It borders the Warwickshire districts of Rugby to the east, and North Warwickshire to the west. To the south it borders the county of West Midlands, and to the north Leicestershire.
