North Zanesville is a census-designated place and unincorporated community located in Muskingum County, Ohio, just north of the city of Zanesville. As of the 2000 census, the community had a total population of 3,013.

As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 3,013 people, 1,223 households, and 917 families residing in North Zanesville. The population density is 324.0/km² (838.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the community is 95.65% White, 1.76% African American, 0.07% Native American, 1.49% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.23% from other races, and 0.80% from two or more races. 0.40% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 1,223 households out of which 28.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.7% are married couples living together, 7.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 25.0% are non-families. 21.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 11.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.46 and the average family size is 2.86.
