Narmacil II
|
Narmacil II is a fictional character in J. R. R. Tolkien's universe of Middle-earth. He was the twenty-ninth king of Gondor and the son of Telumehtar and reigned from 1850 T.A. to 1856 T.A.
In the sixth year of his brief reign a federation of Easterlings called the Wainriders overran Gondor's territories on the eastern bank of the Anduin.
Narmacil marched to Rhovanion to fight the invaders but was utterly defeated and slain. He was succeeded by his son Calimehtar.
