Moses Schönfinkel was a Russian logician. He invented combinatory logic independently of, and a little earlier than, Haskell Curry. Schönfinkel published his logic in Über die Bausteine der mathematischen Logik[1] (http:#References) in 1924. The article also introduced what is now called currying after Haskell Curry, the terminology Schönfinkeling having found few adherents.
Unlike Haskell Curry, he appears not to have developed combinatory logic any further.
