Mondovi is a city located in Buffalo County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 2,634. The city is located mostly within the Town of Mondovi. A small portion lies within the Town of Naples.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 9.9 km² (3.8 mi²). 9.8 km² (3.8 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.79% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 2,634 people, 1,122 households, and 657 families residing in the city. The population density is 268.3/km² (695.2/mi²). There are 1,232 housing units at an average density of 125.5/km² (325.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 98.71% White, 0.19% Black or African American, 0.30% Native American, 0.27% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.53% from two or more races. 0.46% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 1,122 households out of which 27.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.5% are married couples living together, 9.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 41.4% are non-families. 36.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 21.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.26 and the average family size is 2.96.
