Military diving

Military diving is a branch of professional diving carried out by world armed forces.
The various diving activities which military divers carry out are
- harbour clearance and maintenance
- stealthy infiltration, see also manned torpedo and frogman
- underwater mine clearance and bomb disposal
Military diving units include:
- France - Commando Hubert
- UK - Special Boat Service of the Royal Marines
- USA - U.S. Navy SEALs
The Diving Badge is a special military decoration which is issued by the United States armed forces to military divers.
