Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (1987) is a cartoony boxing video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System designed, developed, and published by Nintendo. The game features a boxer named "Little Mac" working his way up the professional boxing circuits, facing a series of colorful, fictional boxers up until a final fight with the real-life boxer, Mike Tyson.

Gameplay
The game requires good reflexes in reaction to the computer-controlled boxers' moves, as the more advanced boxers give very little indication of their coming moves. Unlike many games of the mid-1980s, Punch-Out!! incorporated enough variety to be a challenge to even the most experienced of players. Still, many have mastered Punch-Out!! by learning the computer-controlled boxers' consistent patterns.
The opponents
The opponents the player has to face in the three boxing circuits are:
Minor Circuit
- Glass Joe
- Von Kaiser
- Piston Honda
Major Circuit
- Don Flamenco
- King Hippo
- Great Tiger
- Bald Bull
World Circuit
- Piston Honda
- Soda Popinski (changed from Vodka Drunkenski in the arcade game, Super Punch-Out!!)
- Bald Bull
- Don Flamenco
- Mr. Sandman
- Super Macho Man
The Dream Fight
- Mike Tyson / Mr. Dream
Other versions
After the game's license with Tyson expired, Nintendo re-released it as Punch-Out!!, replacing the Tyson character with "Mr. Dream", whose face and skin color differed but fought in the same fashion as the Tyson character.
This game was inspired by the 1984 arcade game Punch-Out!!, also by Nintendo. The arcade version doesn't use Tyson's image or name.
