Middleburg is a census-designated place and an unincorporated town located in Clay County, Florida. As of the 2000 census, Middleburg had a total population of 10,338.

Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 10,338 people, 3,485 households, and 2,843 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 218.4/km² (565.4/mi²). There are 3,653 housing units at an average density of 77.2/km² (199.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 93.17% White, 3.23% African American, 0.72% Native American, 0.63% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 0.64% from other races, and 1.57% from two or more races. 2.57% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 3,485 households out of which 44.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.2% are married couples living together, 10.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 18.4% are non-families. 13.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.97 and the average family size is 3.23.
In the CDP the population is spread out with 30.9% under the age of 18, 8.2% from 18 to 24, 31.9% from 25 to 44, 22.5% from 45 to 64, and 6.6% who are 65 years of age or older.
