Michael Kidd

Michael Kidd (b. 1919) is an American film and stage choreographer. His best-known work is likely Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, for which Kidd designed a series of energetic dances depicting ordinary frontier activities, most famously a barn raising. The shows he choreographed for the Broadway stage include the original productions of Finian's Rainbow, Love Life, Arms and the Girl, Guys and Dolls, Can-Can, Li'l Abner, Destry Rides Again, Wildcat, Subways Are For Sleeping, Here's Love, Ben Franklin in Paris, Skyscraper, and The Rothschilds.
