McWatt

McWatt is a fictional character created by novelist Joseph Heller in the novel Catch-22.
He is the pilot of Yossarian's plane, and is known for his dangerous maneuvers. He loves to fly very low near Yossarian's tent, thus scaring Yossarian white and making him mad. He has a very flippant view of life as his catch phrase is, "Oh well, what the hell!" However, he later commits suicide by crashing his plane on purpose, because he has accidentally killed the character Kid Sampson by cutting him in half with the propellers of his plane during a training exercise.
