Matabeleland North is a province of Zimbabwe. It has an area of 75,025 km2 and a population of approximately 700,000 (2002). Bulawayo is the capital of the province. Victoria Falls, the worlds largest waterfall, is on the Zambezi river, which defines the northern border of the province. The Hwange National Park is also found in this province. Hwange and Victoria Falls are the only other towns in this province The folowing districts are in Matabeleland North: Binga, Dete, Lupane, Tsholotsho and Nkayi.
