Manon

Manon is an opera in five acts by Jules Massenet to a French libretto by Henri Meilhac and Philippe Gille, based on L’histoire du chevalier des Grieux et de Manon Lescaut by Abbé Prévost. First performance: Opéra Comique, Paris, 1884.
Manon is part of the standard operatic repertoire. There are a several recordings of it, and it is regularly performed. It is also one of three operas based on the same book, the others being Puccini's Manon Lescaut and Auber's Manon Lescaut
