Mahabaleshwar

Mahabaleshwar is a hill station located in Satara district, at 1372 meters elevation in the Western Ghats range of Maharashtra. Mahabaleshwar is also the name of the mountain, which reaches a height of 1438 m (4710 ft) at its highest peak, Point Wilson.
Mahabaleshwar served as the summer capital of Bombay province during the British Raj, and is a popular resort and honeymoon spot. It also has an old church. Template:India-geo-stub
