Lyons Falls is a village located in Lewis County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 591.
The Village of Lyons Falls is on the border of the Town of West Turin and the Town of Lyonsdale. It is at the junction of Routes 12 and 12D.
Geography
The Black River (New York) flows through the village and is joined by the Moose River.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.8 km² (1.1 mi²). 2.5 km² (1.0 mi²) of it is land and 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 8.41% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 591 people, 238 households, and 157 families residing in the village. The population density is 232.8/km² (602.1/mi²). There are 294 housing units at an average density of 115.8/km² (299.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 98.82% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.68% from other races, and 0.51% from two or more races. 0.17% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 238 households out of which 26.9% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.7% are married couples living together, 11.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 34.0% are non-families. 27.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 16.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.48 and the average family size is 3.01.
