Luiz Felipe Scolari (born September 11, 1948 in Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul) is a Brazilian football (soccer) coach. He has been coach of the Portuguese national team since 2003. From 2001 to 2002 he coached the Brazilian national team, leading it to victory in the 2002 World Cup.
By coaching Portugal during its run to the finals of the 2004 European Football Championship, he became the first foreign coach ever to lead any team to the finals of that event. He was joined the following day by Otto Rehhagel, the German coach of Portugal's finals opponent, Greece.
Scolari is also known as Felipćo ("Big Phi").
