Loyola Law School

Not to be confused with Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Loyola Law School is the graduate law school of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. Located on its own downtown Los Angeles campus designed by Frank Gehry, it was established in 1920. The campus is separate from the Loyola Marymount campus, and it's closer to the civic centers of downtown Los Angeles. The school is ranked 58th among lawschools in the US, according to the 2006 US News and World Reports rankings.
The Law School offers many special programs, including the Public Interest Law program that requires students to perform pro-bono work. The Law School also offers a tax L.L.M. program (ranked 8th in the nation by US News and World Reports). The school, like Georgetown University, is a private Jesuit school.
Some faculty members often double as legal correspondents for news programs. Criminal Law professor Stan Goldman doubles as a Fox News legal analyst, and professor Laurie Levenson oftentimes appears on CNN.
