Louis Le Prince

Louis Le Prince, born in Metz, France in 1842. He grew up spending time in the studio of his father's friend, the photographer Louis Daguerre. After his marriage, he moved to Leeds, England and developed a camera for taking moving pictures. One of his first films, is of the Leeds Bridge (in 1888).
In 1890, he boarded a train from Dijon to Paris but disappeared en route.
