|
Look Who's Talking is a 1989 comedy film which stars John Travolta (James Ubriacco) and Kirstie Alley (Mollie). Bruce Willis plays the voice of Mollie's illegitimate son, Mikey. The movie also features George Segal as Mollie's boss, Albert, and father of Mikey. It was directed by Amy Heckerling.
Plot
Mollie gives birth to a son fathered by her boss, Albert. The movie explores her attempts to get him to accept his responsibility of recognizing Mikey and help paying for his support. James Ubriacco is a taxi driver who befriends Mollie as she goes through the trials of new motherhood.
Much of the film is portrayed through the thoughts of Mikey. However, because this movie explores human sexuality, it is rated PG-13.
Legacy
This movie was successful enough to spawn two sequels: Look Who's Talking Too (1990) and Look Who's Talking Now (1993).
