|
Liverpool Castle in Liverpool, England was probably erected in the 1230s. The castle was ruined during the English Civil War and completely demolished in the 18th century. The site of the castle is at present day Derby Square (Queen Victoria Monument) near the city centre. The modern-day lawcourts on the site were built in the style of a castle.
