Lincoln Village is an unincorporated census-designated place located in Prairie Township, within Franklin County, Ohio. It is centered near the intersection of U.S. 40 and I-270 on the west side of Columbus. As of the 2000 census, it had a total population of 9,482.
Lincoln Village was started in 1955 as a planned community by a real estate subsidiary of Nationwide Insurance. The community was developed to have all the essentials such as a shopping center, schools, and parks, and to incorporate safety considerations such as positioning the homes on street corners to eliminate blind intersections.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Lincoln Village has a total area of 4.8 km² (1.9 mi²). 4.8 km² (1.9 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 9,482 people, 4,013 households, and 2,524 families residing in Lincoln Village. The population density is 1,957.8/km² (5,074.6/mi²). There are 4,196 housing units at an average density of 866.4/km² (2,245.6/mi²). The racial makeup is 91.13% White, 3.74% Black or African American, 0.38% Native American, 0.57% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 2.91% from other races, and 1.24% from two or more races. 5.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 4,013 households out of which 27.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.4% are married couples living together, 13.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 37.1% are non-families. 30.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.35 and the average family size is 2.92.
The population is spread out with 23.5% under the age of 18, 8.6% from 18 to 24, 30.2% from 25 to 44, 23.0% from 45 to 64, and 14.8% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 37 years. For every 100 females there are 93.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 89.8 males.
The median income for a household in Lincoln Village is $33,791, and the median income for a family is $41,110. Males have a median income of $31,539 versus $26,158 for females. The per capita income is $16,886. 12.0% of the population and 9.3% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total population, 16.0% of those under the age of 18 and 6.4% of those 65 and older are living below the poverty line.
