Liege Maximo

From the Liege Maximo came the Decepticons and all their subsequent Generations.
In the Transformers Generation Two comic book world, The Liege Maximo was the father of the Decepticons; He was a counterpart to the Prime line, and symbolized all a Decepticon should want to be.
It is possible that Liege is a title, such as Prime is. Jhiaxus referred to himself as the Liege Centuro, for instance.
From the beginning of time, even before the rise of the Cybertronians, the Liege existed, possibly as a construct of Unicron. For a time he ruled over an expansive empire, eventually including Cybertron. These events occurred in the prehistory of the planet Cybertron.
The Liege Maximo was known to have destroyed a Prime, namely Primon, removed the Matrix and somehow kept the Matrix from "remembering" Primon (as it listed the first prime as Prima). (Ref: A story written by Simon Furman for BotCon)
In the Simon Furman story Alignment, we learn that he built the gigantic Hub in an attempt to gain Godhood which was eventually thwarted by a combination of Autobots and Decepticons including his own spawn, Megatron.
