History
Latah was officially incorporated on April 9, 1892.
Geography
Latah is located at 47°16'54" North, 117°9'24" West (47.281714, -117.156634)Template:GR.According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.9 km² (0.3 mi²). 0.9 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 151 people, 56 households, and 43 families residing in the town. The population density is 176.7/km² (451.9/mi²). There are 75 housing units at an average density of 87.8/km² (224.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 97.35% White, 0.00% African American, 0.66% Native American, 0.66% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.32% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 4.64% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
