Lake McMurray is a census-designated place located in Skagit County, Washington. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 200.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.7 km² (1.0 mi²). 2.1 km² (0.8 mi²) of it is land and 0.5 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 19.42% water.

Demographics

As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 200 people, 83 households, and 62 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 94.2/km² (242.5/mi²). There are 104 housing units at an average density of 49.0/km² (126.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 90.00% White, 0.50% African American, 0.00% Native American, 3.50% Asian, 2.00% Pacific Islander, 0.50% from other races, and 3.50% from two or more races. 0.50% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 83 households out of which 31.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.1% are married couples living together, 4.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 25.3% are non-families. 22.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 12.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.41 and the average family size is 2.79.

In the CDP the population is spread out with 20.5% under the age of 18, 5.5% from 18 to 24, 24.5% from 25 to 44, 33.5% from 45 to 64, and 16.0% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 44 years. For every 100 females there are 124.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 114.9 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP is $65,536, and the median income for a family is $62,083. Males have a median income of $36,071 versus $39,375 for females. The per capita income for the CDP is $29,051. 0.0% of the population and 0.0% of families are below the poverty line.
