Labor unrest
|
Labor unrest is labor organizing and strikes viewed from the perspective of the business community and sometimes the community at large and law enforcement. This was true in the nineteenth century, for example, in the mining communities of the American West and in modern times in totalitarian states such as the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China, situations where a premium is placed on control of the working class.
