LAPA

LAPA (Lineas Aereas Privadas de Argentina), was an Argentine airline. It started operations in 1977.
On September 1, 1999, a LAPA Boeing 737-200 crashed during takeoff from Jorge Newbery Airport in Buenos Aires, killing 74, including 10 on the ground. The LAPA Airlines Flight 3142 - LV-WRZ overshot the runway during takeoff from the Airport, hitting two cars and bursting into flames.
Many of its assets are now owned by Lineas Aereas Federales.
There´s a 2004 movie named Whisky Romeo Zulu where the main character is a former Lapa Pilot who foresaw the accident.
