King's Stand Stakes

The King's Stand Stakes is a Group 2 United Kingdom flat racing horse race for three year old and above horses run over a distance of 5 furlongs (1006 m) at Ascot Racecourse during June. (worth £150,000 in 2004).
Initially named the Stand Plate in 1837, it has also been called the Royal Stand Plate and the Queen's Plate but took its present name in 1901.
