Khan Market is one of the more upmarket and expensive places to shop in New Delhi, Its located in the city center, surrounded by residential complexes and greenery (including the famed Lodhi Gardens).
Khan Market is popular with the diplomatic community, and as a result you can find many 'hard to find' items from overseas. Of course, for such a priveledge and a rich clientelle, you pay a price.
It has a wide variety of stores, including modern showrooms of most of the famous apparel brands (Nike, Reebok, etc), delicatessens and browsable bookstores. Electronic, kitchenware, stationery, toys, gifts and fabric stores are in abundance. Towards the back of the market is the hardware, vehicle repair and spare parts section.
Kahn Market has some of the best tailors in Delhi. Several shops have a range of excellent material and will have a tailor on hand to make a suit, dress or shirt, usually within a week.
