Kempele

Kempele is a municipality in the province of Oulu, in Finland. The municipilaty is located in Northern Finland just south of city of Oulu. The population of Kempele is 13,982 (2005-01-01) and the municipilaty covers an area of 110.14 km² (excluding sea areas) of which 0.12 km² is inland water (2004-01-01). The population density is 123.9 inhabitants per km² (2004-01-01). The municipilaty of Kempele has been founded in 1867.
