Keith Locke is a New Zealand MP representing the Green Party.
He was born in 1944 to politically active parents in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Locke was elected to parliament in the 1999 election at number 7 on the Green Party list. He was returned to Parliament in the 2002 election again at number 7 on the Green Party list.
As of 2004 he is the Green Party spokesperson on Civil Defence, Defence and Disarmament, Foreign Affairs, Human Rights, Overseas Development Assistance, Police, Security and Intelligence, Auckland Transport and Veteran Affairs. He has been a spokesperson on international affairs, defence and disarmament issues for the last 15 years, for NewLabour, the Alliance, and now the Green Party.
