KIKU is an independent broadcast television network in Hawaii. Based in Honolulu and broadcasting on channel 20, it features 24-hour multicultural programming to cater to the vast Asian community in the Hawaiian Islands. Programs come in Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Ilokano, Korean, Tagalog, Vietnamese and English. Its most popular programs are from Japan and are subtitled in English for local residents. Feeds reach all the major islands of Hawaii and can also be seen on cable. KIKU, which in the Japanese language means chrysanthemum, was formerly the call letters of KHNL. It used to feature Japanese language programs.
In the Fall of 2004, KIKU joined the UPN television network.
