Jim Diamond

Jim Diamond (born September 28, 1953) is best known for his world-wide number one hits "I Won't Let You Down" (as the singer in the trio PhD, with Tony Hymas and Simon Phillips) and his solo performance "I Won't Let You Down" (co-written with fellow Scot Graham Lyle).
Diamond was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He has resumed touring in the UK in recent years, and as of January 2003 he was putting the finishing touches to his first album with Brit horn virtuoso Snake Davis under the group name Blue Shoes.
