The Right Honourable Sir Jeremy James Hanley (born November 17, 1945) is a politician in the United Kingdom and a chartered accountant.
He was Conservative member of Parliament for Richmond and Barnes from 1979, but lost his seat in the 1997 election. During the John Major government, he served as a junior minister, then from 1994-5 as Conservative Party chairman with the Cabinet sinecure of Minister without Portfolio, and subsequently as Minister of State at the Foreign Office until 1997. He has been a member of the Privy Council since 1994.
Hanley is the son of the actor Jimmy Hanley (1918-1970) and the actress Dinah Sheridan (1920- ).
