Jean de Labadie (1610-1674) was a 17th century French mystic. Originally a Roman Catholic priest, he converted to Protestantism c. 1650. He relocated to Holland, where he established a religious group known as the Labadists, dedicated to communal property and familial rights. The movement was defunct by 1732.
