Isenfluh
|
Isenfluh is a small hamlet in Switzerland north of the road from Wilderswil to Lauterbrunnen. The children attend school in Lauterbrunnen, because its village school was closed for savings reasons by the government of the Canton of Bern.
Isenfluh at infrastructure is now still present, everything comes from self-help groups.
Isenfluh is a starting point for wonderful migrations and Schlittelfahrten. The Swiss Alpine Club (Schweizerischen Alpenclubs), SAC, can be reached from Isenfluh within a few hours.
Since 1973, Isenfluh, together with Wengen, Muerren, Gimmelwald, Stechelberg and Lauterbrunnen, belongs to the municipality of Lauterbrunnen.
