In the Company of Men is a 1997 film written and directed by Neil LaBute and starring Aaron Eckhart, Matt Malloy and Stacy Edwards.
A commentary on modern misogyny, the film revolves around two men, "Chad," played by Eckhart, and "Howard," played by Malloy, who are stuck in a nameless Midwestern town for a few weeks on business. To fight the boredom, the men engage in a bet that involves toying with the emotions of a deaf female coworker.
The film was shot on location entirely in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
