Ilan Mitchell-Smith

Ilan Mitchell-Smith (born June 29, 1969 in New York City) is a professor of History at Texas A&M University, but is best known as an actor and co-star of the movie Weird Science (1985).
Mitchell-Smith earned his PhD at Texa A&M. He also has a BA in Medieval Studies from UC Davis and an MA from Fordham University. He and his wife Susannah (married 1994) have two children: a daughter, Eloise, born 1998, and a son, Asher, born 2000.
According to The Morning News (http://www.themorningnews.org/), he is frequently asked, "What was it like to kiss Kelly LeBrock?" and has replied, "The truth is that it's weird to be 15 and kissing a woman who is 30."
