Hunters Point Avenue (IRT Flushing Line station)

Hunters Point Avenue is a New York Subway station. It is identified on the line by name tablet mosaics that read "HP." The token booth is at the north end of the mezzanine, which allows a crossover between directions. At the eastern end of the station, the tunnel portal is easily seen.
Hunterspoint Avenue (also spelled Hunter's Point Avenue) is the first underground station west of Flushing on the 7-Flushing Local Train. Located in Long Island City, this is a 2 track station with 2 side plaforms.
The exit/entrance is at the north end, with a mezzanine and crossover. The west exit leads to the intersection of 49 Avenue and 21 Street, while the east exit leads to the Long Island Rail Road's Hunterspoint Avenue station. The east exit is open weekdays only, as the LIRR stops here only during Monday-Friday.
The station is adorned with "HP" tiles, as well as name tablets. The station is in a Itailanate design.
