Home & Garden Television
|
Home & Garden Television, better known as HGTV, is a cable television network in the U.S. and Canada. Programming consists of numerous home and garden improvement, maintenance, renovation, and remodeling shows.
Like it's sister networks (DIY Network, Fine Living, Food Network & Great American Country), HGTV is owned by The E. W. Scripps Company, in the USA.
HGTV Canada has slightly different programming, which adheres to can-con rules, and is owned and operated by Alliance Atlantis.
In the United States, the network sponsors the annual HGTV Dream Home project house and contest.
