The Honourable Hilary M. Weston, CM, OOnt (born Hilary Frayne, January 12, 1942, Dublin) was the 26th Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, serving from 1997 to 2002. She was deputy chair of the board of Holt Renfrew for ten years. In 1979, Mrs. Weston founded the Ireland Fund of Canada and continues as honorary patron of the non-partisan, non-denominational organization that funds community projects in Ireland to promote peace.
She married Galen Weston in 1966; they have two children, Galen Jr. and Alannah. They are the second richest family in Canada, with a net worth of US$6.2 billion.
The 2005 Sunday Times Rich List declared Mrs. Weston as the richest Irish citizen, with an estimated personal wealth of €7.5 billion, which contradicts other estimates completely.
In 2003, she was made a Member of the Order of Canada.
