Higashiōsaka (東大阪市; -shi, "East Osaka") is a city located in Osaka Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 513,178 and the density of 8,302.51 persons per km². The total area is 61.81 km².
The city was founded on February 1, 1967.
