Henry Somerset, 2nd Earl of Worcester

Henry Somerset, 2nd Earl of Worcester was born around 1496 to Charles Somerset, 1st Earl of Worcester and Elizabeth Herbert. On April 15th, 1526, he succeeded his father and became the 2nd Earl of Worcester. He married twice, to Margaret Courtenay and to Elizabeth Browne. Somerset died on November 26th, 1549.
With Margaret Courtenay, he had one son, William Somerset, 3rd Earl of Worcester, his heir and successor, and two daughters:
- Lady Anne Somerset, who died in 1591 and, in 1558, married Thomas Percy, 7th Earl of Northumberland, who was beheaded on August 22nd, 1572, with whom she had four daughters, his only children; and
- Lady Lucy Somerset, who died between February 23rd, 1581 and 1582, and married John Neville, 4th Baron Latimer, with whom she had four daughters, his only children and co-heirs.
