According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.7 km² (0.6 mi²). 1.7 km² (0.6 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 993 people, 373 households, and 258 families residing in the village. The population density is 589.8/km² (1,530.4/mi²). There are 438 housing units at an average density of 260.2/km² (675.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 93.15% White, 0.00% African American, 1.01% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 3.32% from other races, and 2.52% from two or more races. 6.85% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 373 households out of which 38.9% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.3% are married couples living together, 9.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 30.6% are non-families. 28.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 15.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.58 and the average family size is 3.18.

Constructions
Until its collapse in 2002 there was a guyed TV mast with a height of 609.6 metres. This mast was replaced by the smaller Duhamel Broadcasting Tower Angora. (Has someone more information?)
