Eagles Live (1980) | Hell Freezes Over (1994) | N/A |
Hell Freezes Over is an album by The Eagles, released in 1994 (see 1994 in music). The album contains four new studio tracks and eleven tracks recorded live for an MTV special.
The album was also released in video form and is one of the best-selling concert DVDs in history. The DVD is technically notable for being one of the first music releases to feature a DTS format soundtrack.
The album name is in reference to a quote by Don Henley about a band reunion after the breakup in 1980 when he replied that would happen when "Hell freezes over".
