Hart's War is a 2002 film about a World War II prisoner of war camp starring Bruce Willis and Colin Farrell.
Plot
During World War II, First-Lieutenant Thomas Hart (Farrell) is captured by German forces during the Battle of the Bulge and is sent to a Prison camp, Lieutenant Hart encounters the social and physical struggles of POWs.
When two African American pilots are brought to the camp, one is soon murdered and the other accused of killing a white sergeant. A law-student before the war, Hart is appointed by Army Col. William McNamara (Willis) to "defend" the accused pilot at his court-martial. The trial is a sham, acting as a distraction to hide McNamara 's plans of escape.
Trivia
Hart's War was Jonathan Brandis's last major role before his suicide.
